This was created in honor of my first trip to Nigeria, a journey that deepened my connection to my heritage. Drawing inspiration from traditional Adire textiles, the piece reinterprets these historic patterns through my own artistic lens. The work celebrates and honors the rich cultural traditions of Nigeria while exploring my personal relationship to ancestry, identity, and belonging.
